Real Specimens

As seen in hundreds of cities around the globe by over fifty million people, Body Worlds: The Anatomy of Happiness comes Melbourne! The Exhibition uses carefully preserved, REAL human specimens, called "Plastinates" to capture the beauty and science of the human body, with a focus on what brings us joy and what happens to the body in those euphoric moments! Each specimen is posed to beautifully illustrate the anatomy and physiology of the human system, providing the visitor with an indispensable visual reference to the body's form and function.

Body Worlds exhibitions are famously fascinating, showing us up close real human hearts, brains, foetuses and the systems in the body that make us what we are as humans. It's a chance to have a three dimensional look deep inside the body, skin to bone, head to toe, and learn something new about ourselves like never before.
